Brazilian fashion designer Carlos Miele wants $29K a month for his Meatpacking pad

For the renter looking for a piece of Rio in Manhattan, this apartment ticks all the boxes. Carlos Miele, the Brazilian fashion designer whose fans include Vanessa Williams, Paula Abdul and Daisy Fuentes, has listed his lavish Meatpacking District penthouse for $29,000 a month, the Daily News has learned.

The vibrantly hued, eclectic four-bedroom, four-bathroom pad, at 66 Ninth Ave., has been owned by Miele since 2003, when the designer snagged it for $4.23 million. The fashion guru, known for his animal prints and exuberant, sexy looks, wants to lease the property since he is spending most of his time in Brazil, said listing broker Ruben Perez of Sotheby’s International Realty.

“He has a very modern style,” Perez said of his client, who has filled the apartment with colorful statement pieces and wacky design flourishes. “His pieces of furniture are like art. Everything is special and one of a kind.” The 3,146-square-foot apartment has Brazilian hardwood floors, a Carrera marble bathroom and a stunning private terrace with uninterrupted views of the Hudson River and the World Trade Center.
